A 360 virtual tour is an interactive experience where a user can look in every direction (left, right, up, down) from a fixed point using a 360° panoramic image.
Instead of seeing a normal photo, the user feels like they are standing inside the location.
Example:
Normal photo → You see only one direction.
360 photo → You can rotate and see the entire environment.
This is why universities, hotels, resorts, and real estate companies use it.
Example from Sandip University
When you open their 360 page:
- You see the campus environment
- You can rotate the camera
- You can click hotspots to move to another location
So it is basically a collection of many 360 photos connected together.
